Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by 247 Auto Batteries & Roadside Assistance (ABN: 13 585 475 276), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

247 Auto Batteries provides the following services across Melbourne's western suburbs:

  • 24/7 mobile battery replacement and installation
  • Jumpstart services
  • Emergency fuel delivery
  • Lockout assistance
  • Tyre changes
  • Towing services (within service area)
  • Roadside assistance membership plans

Service Area & Availability

Our services are available 24/7 within a 100km radius from Melbourne CBD, focusing on Melbourne's western suburbs. While we strive to provide immediate assistance, service availability may be affected by:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • High demand periods
  • Road closures or access restrictions
  • Vehicle location and accessibility

Payment & Pricing

  • Payment Methods: We accept cash and EFTPOS payments on-site. EFTPOS accepted cards include Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Fleet Card, and Afterpay
  • Pricing: All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated
  • Quotes: Quotes provided are estimates and may vary based on the actual service required
  • Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged
  • Membership Plans: Roadside assistance memberships are billed annually or monthly as per the selected plan

Warranties & Guarantees

  • Battery Warranty: All batteries sold come with manufacturer warranties (terms vary by brand)
  • Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our installation and service work for 30 days
  • Consumer Guarantees: Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these terms

Liability & Limitations

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage to your vehicle
  • We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
  • We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our operations
  • You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and location information

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Service Cancellation: Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel. No charge applies if cancelled before our technician is dispatched
  • Membership Cancellation: Roadside assistance memberships can be cancelled with 14 days notice. Refunds are prorated for annual memberships
  • Product Returns: Batteries and products can only be returned if they are faulty or defective. We do not accept change of mind returns or returns based on finding a cheaper price elsewhere. All faulty products must be assessed and confirmed defective before a refund or replacement is issued

Customer Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate vehicle information and location details
  • Ensure safe access to your vehicle for our technicians
  • Disclose any known vehicle issues that may affect service
  • Treat our staff with respect and professionalism
  • Pay for services as agreed

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
